Organic Runner Bean - Enorma
INSTRUCTIONS:
Sowing May to July outdoors, directly into rich, well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Provide support for climbing habit, either a row or wigwam of 180cm canes or netting, sow 2 seeds against each cane, 4cm deep. Can also be sown individually in small pots or cells under glass at 18 – 20C from mid April to transplant outdoors once all risk of frost has passed.
Growing Keep watered, particularly once flowering commences, adding a mulch during hottest, dry periods. Pods grow up to 50cm in length.
Harvesting July to October. Pick pods regularly whilst young for heaviest yields and to extend the season.
ORGANIC GARDENING:
